Heading to San Diego December 25th-January 2nd for some fun, sun and relaxation! I'm visiting the family I lived with during my internship at Botanica. CiCis Pizza Night

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here is a picture from Angie's wedding at Bay Pointe Inn in Shelbyville, Michigan this summer. Here are the centerpieces from Sara and Nate's wedding! The trees can be made with any color flower and flowers up in the branches. I love the candles up in the air. They definitely add to the ambiance of the reception!

Gorgeous Fall Wedding

So pretty much every weekend I change my mind about which wedding is my favorite for the year. I honestly have no idea what I could ever choose if I had to plan my own wedding! Sara and Nate's wedding was so much fun because it was different from any other I have ever done. Check out the celosia (yellow ones that look like brains) and fern fronds (brown monkey tails). Convention Pictures

Here are some pictures from Nationals. I'm so proud of my students!

Indianapolis, IN

So I'm out in Indy with 6 of my students at the FFA National Convention. Four of my students competed in the FFA National Floriculture Career Development Event yesterday and today because they won first place in Ohio last year! We have had an awesome time so far because we have listed to Keynote speaker, Mike Rowe, from Dirty Jobs at opening ceremonies and went to see Toby Keith in concert with the Eli Young Band. It was great because for many of my students, it was their first time at a concert. I just loved to see their excitement!

Today while some of my students competed, the other 2 and I went to the Indianapolis Children's museum. We had so much fun because there was a King Tut exhibit and there were dinosaurs! When I get home and get the pictures on my computer, I will definitely get some posted. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Today's wedding was so much fun! From the creative bouquets with yellow celosia, orange mini callas, red roses, brown fern fronds, green cymbidium orchids and green hypericum berries to the amazing centerpieces, Ellie and I had so much fun! The pictures aren't the best, but here is a preview for you. As soon as I get pictures from Mary Wyar Photography I will get them up!

Super Busy!

Wow! Three weddings this weekend has me crazy busy! My workroom is a huge spread of fall colors with one wedding being deep purple/black and red, and another red/orange/yellow/white. The third one is completely different in dark and light pink, white, green and light pink. All of them are going to be gorgeous in their own way! I can't wait to begin putting everything together tomorrow!

Fall has begun!

I love switching into fall mode with all the gorgeous colors! I had two weddings this weekend in the fall hues and I loved them both. Here are the bouquets from my Saturday wedding. The ceremony was at First Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg and the red and white flowers were a wonderful accent to the red in the church.

Heidi!

I went down to Columbus yesterday for Heidi and Josh's wedding. Heidi was my roommate at Ohio State and a wonderful friend! Her bridemaids wore black with hot pink sashes, and the hot pink roses and dahlias, purple hydrangeas and lisianthus bouquets looked awesome! Heidi's bouquet had orange calla lilies in it as well. It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding!

Wedding 8/29

Today's wedding was another beautiful one. I don't know what I'll ever choose for my wedding someday since every weekend I change my mind about flowers! The latte dresses looked awesome with the white and coffee colored roses and white lilies.

If anyone is going to the bridal show at Hilton Garden Inn tomorrow, make sure to check on JP Photography's booth because I will have a centerpiece there and it's in my new containers that I'm in love with. Let me know what you think!

Lindsey's Wedding

I had a great time at Lindsey's wedding today because I got to work with flowers that I don't work with on a regular basis. The bridal bouquet was white hydrangea, pink cymbidium orchids, pink spray roses and chocolate cosmos. The bridesmaid's bouquets were green hydrangea, pink spray roses, white alstromeria, pink calla lilies and chocolate cosmos. The wedding was gorgeous! Can't wait to share the pictures from Serendipity by Gerri.

6-20-09 Wedding

If you all haven't noticed yet, I love seeing the pictures for the first time after a wedding! When Brooke booked with me she told me a family friend was photographing her wedding. She forgot to mention that the family friend was an AMAZING photographer! I love the shots Hannah sent me and I hope you all love them too. Here are a couple, the rest are up on my website. Getting Ready

Today I am getting ready for a wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn with bridal consultant Nikki from Elite Events. The wedding is going to be completely beautiful in shades of white and green. Flowers include miniature calla lilies, tulips, green dendrobium orchids, white dendrobium orchids, green hypericum berries, green hydrangea and green cymbidium orchids. When I get the pictures I will be sure to post them because I think everyone will love the place cards in the wheat grass idea that Lisa came up with, Wishing well branch arrangement that wishes will be hung on, floral lamps and submerged flower arrangements. Got to get back to work! Have a wonderful weekend!

Meghan and Trevor's wedding in Mentor, Ohio was so much fun because Meghan and Trevor are wonderful friends of mine. Not only did I design the flowers, but I was invited to the wedding as well. Everyone had a great time. I was so happy that Christin from Blue Martini was the photographer because I knew the pictures would turn out wonderful.
