I am so excited to share with everyone our new location! 5646 Summit St. Sylvania, OH 43560. For those of you that know Sylvania, it is right behind the Rite Aid on Monroe Street, one street East of Main. Right across the street from Reeb Funeral Home!
We have a lot of work to do inside, but will be open during construction. Please just excuse our mess! We are so excited though to design things exactly like we want!
My dreams are finally coming true and I really appreciate the love and support I have from all of you! I have wanted to own my own shop since my sophomore year of high school and I am finally getting closer to my dream of being able to design full time. Please help us grow by sharing Beautiful Blooms by Jen with your friends. We really appreciate the referrals! Don't forget we are full service now and are able to help with any of your flower needs.

Weekend Wedding Preview 12/29/10
So not only do we get to celebrate the New Year by moving into a new shop but we also get to create 3 amazing weddings this weekend!!
Ellen Baumert decided to embrace gorgeous jewel tones for her wedding this weekend. The combination of red, purple, and gold is really going to pop!
Amanda Cichocki went with a classic, stunning wintery combination of white, silver and navy blue which will look amazing next to her navy blue bridesmaids' dresses.
Marissa Harrington is keeping it chic and stylish by opting to pair deep red garden roses with champagne color dresses.

Paperwhite Bulbs
So we got in Paperwhite Bulbs this week and its been so much fun playing around with them. The neat thing about Paperwhites is that they don't need to be potted in soil to bloom. The first arrangement is one I made for Jen's mom, she gets the fullness of roses and lilacs but once the fresh flowers die she'll have the Paperwhites that will have begun to bloom.
For the square and cylinder pieces, I just added the paperwhite bulbs on top of stones to create a really unique look and then wrapped the vases with aluminum wire. Once the Paperwhites start to bloom it will look reall cool and ver natural. I think it would make a great tablescape to space out cylinder vases with blooming Paperwhites and other cylinder vases with floating candles and Cranberries. Talk about a WOW-statement for Christmas time, and long-lasting! Give us a call at 419-517-8821 and we'd be glad to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece for your Holiday Festivities.

New Feature 5-22-10 Kara Butler and Bryan Jackson
Check out our newest featured Bride, Kara Butler. Kara and Bryan got married at Stone Ridge Country Club in Bowling Green on May 22, 2010 (Where Jen is getting married next July!). She had a beautiful assortment of peonies, hydrangea, spray roses, and even orchids! I especially loved doing the tall cylinder arrangements because we got to string orchids on the new metallic wire and then we submerged them and some of the arrangements had floating candles while others had the floral pieces on top. Such a spectacular way to showcase a beautiful event. With a special thanks to Grand Lubell Photography for capturing such gorgeous photos of the bouquets and centerpieces.
