Jen and Kyle's Personal Wedding Flowers!

I decided on hot pink and red flowers for my wedding. I wanted something that I had never done for one of my brides.

Kyle had a pink phaleonopsis boutonniere.

The dads had red spray roses and pink dendrobium orchid boutonnieres.

The corsages were made of pink dendrobium orchids.

Look how cute Kyle is!

Loved this hot pink rose color! The girl's bouquets were hot pink roses, red roses, pink hydrangea, nerine lilies and pink and red magic roses which look tie dyed.

My bouquet : ) A little large, but gorgeous!

Jen and Kyle's Wedding Ceremony

Thank you to everyone who helped dry off chairs!

The Aisle
The arch- now available to rent from Beautiful Blooms!

For those of you who haven't heard... It was a gorgeous day in the morning of my wedding day. About 3:30, right in the middle of bridal party pictures it decided to start pouring... It didn't stop until 5:30 which was when I was supposed to walk down the aisle.  When I looked at the radar I could see there was going to be a break in the storms and I was holding out for that little amount of time! We told everyone to hang out in their cars and as soon as it stopped raining we were able to walk down the aisle! As soon as the ceremony was over and we got inside, it started to sprinkle and turned into a downpour again. Thankfully most guests were in their car by that point!  I am so happy that we were able to have the ceremony I had dreamed about OUTSIDE, but we were so close to moving it in! Thank you so much to everyone who toughed it out and came and to everyone who helped with last minute flowers and drying off chairs!

My advice to outdoor brides: Make sure you have a back up plan! Advice I heard yesterday at Bridal 101 at the Pinnacle from Brooke from Bee for the Day is put a phone number on your invite for in case of inclement weather. You can make a message for the day that says "it's beautiful see you at ____, or "change of plans, we are going to be ____ at ____ time."  Great idea! My guests had no clue what the back up plan was!

It's officially fall! Three of our weddings are fall weddings and then one that I forgot to take pictures of is all white and classic!  Love all the flowers I haven't worked with in a while.  Sorry I missed a few because they were already in the cooler. Can't wait to start playing tomorrow!

So much has happened in the last year! We moved in behind Bumble, hired our first full time employee, became a full service florist instead of just doing weddings, bought a house in downtown Sylvania, moved into the new house, and now Jen retired from teaching and is working full time as well! We could not have done it without every one of you who support us!  Thank you so much!

We are currently working on a new website and would love to update our accolades page.  If you get a chance would you mind reviewing Beautiful Blooms by Jen please?  For every site you review us on we will enter you in a drawing to win a $100 gift card from Beautiful Blooms by Jen.  If you review us on 3 sites please email us with your t-shirt size and address and we will get you a free t-shirt!  Again, thank you so much! We wouldn't be here without each and every one of you!
